Was the Atta team in Florida a group of poseurs?

(WMR)—HOLLYWOOD, Fla—WMR has sought out and spoken to the few Hollywood residents who distinctly recall how their town became a focal point for the post-9/11 investigation by the FBI of the activities of “lead hijacker” Mohammed Atta and at least three of his compatriots. One very politically-connected resident voices his belief that given the modus operandi of Atta and his team of going out of their way to bring attention to themselves that the purported future hijackers may have been plants.

Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale to the north, and Hallandale and Aventura to the south lie in the heart of Broward County, which is heavily populated by Jewish transplants from New York City. Our politically-connected source posed one question: why would Atta and his team be cruising bars and causing scenes in a city with a large Jewish population just four days before the Arabs were to carry out the “crime of the century,” the hijacking of four passenger planes in order to fly them into the World Trade Center, Pentagon or White House, and the U.S. Capitol building?

And why would Atta and his team choose to use a mail drop at a rental mailbox store in a shopping center catering to Jewish residents? In fact, the mail drop was practically located across the street from the apartment complex that housed at least one of the Israeli “art students” believed by U.S. intelligence to have been an Israeli intelligence team. Hollywood was one of several cities where the addresses of the art students closely matched up with those of the alleged hijackers. These cities includes Irving, Texas [near Dallas-Forth Worth International Airport]; San Diego; Jersey City; and Laurel, Maryland.

Atta and his team also chose to get drunk at a local Hollywood restaurant called Shuckums Oyster Bar, which has changed names several times since 9/11. FBI agents descended on the restaurant after 9/11 to show photographs of Atta and one of his other team members. Our major source in Hollywood feels that the restaurant, now closed, is a front of some nature. Who or what agency provided the information about Shuckums and Atta’s team to the FBI? Was the intelligence passed to the FBI from domestic U.S. sources, or perhaps, foreign, possibly Israeli? Had the FBI been lured into a cleverly designed trap laid by the Israelis to convince the bureau that it was Atta and his team that were present in Hollywood when the “team” may have actually been Arab or Israeli “pre-crisis actors?” Or may have some of the Israeli “art students” in Hollywood and elsewhere pretended to be Atta and his compatriots? These are all important questions for a possible future 9/11 commission to answer.

WMR previously reported that Atta and three other “hijackers”—Saeed Alghamdi, Ahmad Alnami, and Ahmed Alghamdi—stayed at a Pensacola, Florida-area beach resort hotel. Two of the team members also listed as their addresses on their Florida driver’s licenses, 10 Radford Boulevard, which is within the security perimeter of the Pensacola Naval Air Station in a housing area reserved for foreign flight students. Alghamdi and Alnami had lived at the Delray Racquet Club in Delray Beach, just north of the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood area where Atta and his other team members lived in close proximity to the Israeli art students. As was the case with Atta in Hollywood, he and his team, while staying at the Phoenix Hotel in Gulf Shores, Alabama, close to the Florida state line, were witnessed drinking heavily at a karaoke bar next to their hotel.

While supposedly attending flight school in Venice, Florida, Atta was remembered by deli workers at a local Publix supermarket and a pharmacy as being rude and short-tempered with the employees. Key West residents recalled Atta getting drunk with his girlfriend, Amanda Keller, and meeting with an unidentified German national who flew into Key West for the sole purpose of seeing Atta.

Since Saturday the marked the 51st anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, it is important to note that the events of November 22, 1963, began America’s fall into fascism. That fall materialized into a full-blown fascist state on September 11, 2001. Both dates serve as the two darkest in America’s history and dwarf December 7, 1941 and other notable grim historical dates.
