Washington wants fascist tyranny replacing Venezuelan social democracy—hostility toward the country raging since Hugo Chavez’s December 1998 election as president.
Slow-motion color revolution is ongoing against Nicolas Maduro’s government, aiming to topple it, wanting him ousted, a US-controlled puppet replacing him.
Economic and political war rages, part of Washington’s strategy, including outrageously declaring Bolivarian democracy a threat to US national security, along with multiple rounds of illegal sanctions—aggression by other means.
On November 9, the US Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) illegally sanctioned 10 more Venezuelan officials.
OFAC lied claiming individuals targeted “are associated with undermining electoral processes, media censorship, or corruption in government-administered food programs in Venezuela.”
It turned truth on its head adding, “This designation follows October 15, 2017 state elections in Venezuela, which were marked by numerous irregularities that strongly suggest fraud helped the ruling party unexpectedly win a majority of governorships.”
Fact: Venezuela’s electoral system is the world’s best, scrupulously open, free and fair, shaming America’s money-control sham process—powerful interests deciding who holds top executive and congressional positions, not voters.
Fact: Independent monitors confirmed the scrupulous fairness of October gubernatorial elections, Bolivarian candidates triumphing in 18 of Venezuela’s 23 states—not the outcome Washington wanted, new illegal sanctions a retaliatory action.
Bankster Goldman Sach alum/mortgage foreclosure fraudster/perjurer Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin lied, stating: “As the Venezuelan government continues to disregard the will of its people, our message remains clear: the United States will not stand aside while the Maduro regime continues to destroy democratic order and prosperity in Venezuela.”
“We will maintain our vigorous efforts to sanction Venezuelan government officials who are complicit in Maduro’s attempts to undermine democracy, violate human rights, inhibit the freedom of expression or peaceful assembly, or engage in public corruption, unless they break from Maduro’s dictatorial regime.”
Fact: Venezuela is a social democracy, polar opposite US fascism.
Fact: Maduro is a democratic leader. He’s no dictator. Washington supports a rogue’s gallery of tinpot despots worldwide—fundamentally opposing democracies at home and abroad.
Individuals sanctioned include electoral officials, ministers and National Telephone Company president, along with head of one of its subsidiaries.
Separately, EU ambassadors, pressured by Washington, imposed an arms embargo on Venezuela, illegal sanctions to follow, imposing travel bans and asset freezes, increasing hostility on the country.
Brussels’ action followed the overwhelming triumph of Bolivarian candidates in October gubernatorial elections.
Days earlier, Canada imposed illegal sanctions on Venezuelan officials for the second time, falsely claiming October electoral fraud—a Big Lie.
Earlier US coup attempts to topple its government failed. Does Trump intend his own? If it fails, will sending in the marines be next?
