Nikki Haley is the US imperial state’s foul-mouthed voice at the UN and on the world stage—a Russophobe, Iranophoble Ziofascist extremist supporter of endless wars of aggression, blaming them on victims.
Last Thursday, addressing Security Council members on Yemen, she ignored US Pentagon and CIA drone war on the country since 2002—on the phony pretext of combating al-Qaeda Washington supports.
Other US covert operations in Yemen have been ongoing at least since 2001 when a so-called Pentagon/CIA “counterterrorism camp” was established, UK special forces involved.
The Trump regime inherited Obama’s orchestrated, Saudi-led aggression in Yemen, ongoing since March 2015, responsible for the world’s severest humanitarian crises in the region’s poorest country during more normal times.
The death tolls is many multiples greater than the phony 10,000 figure, likely several hundred thousand or more from war, related violence, untreated diseases, malnutrition and starvation, an entire population at risk the longer war continues.
A previous article explained that Yemeni children under age five are dying at the rate of one every 10 minutes from starvation alone.
As early as summer 2015, months after Obama’s war began, famine began stalking the country.
US-supported, Saudi-led blockade prevents distribution of enough food, medicines, and other essentials to life from reaching millions of Yemenis in need.
Haley disgracefully blamed Houthi fighters and Iran for US-orchestrated aggression on the country.
Commenting on a so-called “Saudi-led coalition . . . airstrike . . . against a fish market and a hospital in (the port city of) Hodeidah,” she said “we’ve hit a new sense of urgency in Yemen,” adding, “If this is what’s starting to happen, civilians are at risk, infrastructure is at risk, and we as the international community have to demand that the two parties come together and understand the seriousness of this.”
“[T]hings are starting to show a disregard for the people on the ground.”
US-orchestrated, Saudi-led naked aggression on Yemen has been raging for over 40 months. Millions of Yemenis have endured humanitarian crisis conditions throughout almost this entire period.
US and UK intelligence select targets for Saudi-led terror-bombing. They include residential areas, hospitals, schools, refugee camps, food storage areas, mosques, marketplaces, and other nonmilitary sites—high crimes against peace, massacring civilians in cold blood, atrocities committed with impunity.
Throughout the war, Haley pretended not to notice. Disgracefully saying, “Things are starting to show a disregard for the people on the ground” ignores nearly three-and-a-half years of US planned and orchestrated naked aggression.
Millions of Yemenis are suffering horrifically. Countless numbers perished. Many more will die if war continues—young children, the elderly and infirm most vulnerable.
They’re victims of US imperial viciousness—nameless, faceless people Haley and likeminded warmongering extremists don’t give a damn about.

And the “coalition” just killed another 50 kids yesterday.
A good and timely article.
