Libyans, raise your heads, you are Libyan! We may have our Libya for ourselves, for our people. The destiny of Libya is unfolding. We can achieve the goal of our desires.
“One Nation, Indivisible, With Liberty and Justice For All”
“Of, By and For The People”.
The following is a statement of the Libyan Libya Party, which is in association with al-Jama’a al-Wataniya, the Libyan Democratic Party and the Libyan Women’s Network, and joining together with all Libyans and their friends who are striving to build a just, prosperous, happy nation in which the welfare of the people is paramount, and in which all citizens are welcome to join in the great endeavor to end tyranny and subservience and achieve our own true freedom.
Let us hold on to Libya as to life itself. Let us never lose Libya again.
We will not be destroyed as Iraq was, with fanaticism and sectarian violence.
We will take the Libyan path to progress and prosperity.
We will unite as a people who are tolerant, hospitable and friendly by custom and culture.
We will reject sectarian hatred and its mindless violence. We will do what is good for our people.
We will act within the well-known parameters of what constitutes right and we will resist and reject all that we see clearly as wrong.
We bear malice towards none. We seek friendship and comity with all. We don’t want to oppress each other or have others oppress us, and we do not seek to oppress others.
We will defend the unity and integrity of our country, our nation—Libya.
All Out for Libya Unity Day April 26th!
