Have you heard the latest on Obama’s Justice Department secretly subpoenaing the telephone records of AP editors and journalists, and tracking their ingoing and outgoing calls?
All Right.
Have you been paying attention to ‘another latest’ on Obama’s IRS deliberately targeting conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status in the run-up to the 2012 election? Did you know that the same IRS office under Obama released nine pending confidential applications of conservative groups to ProPublica late last year?
Okay.
Did you know that Obama and his administration have engaged in more government secrecy than even the Bush Administration?
Good.
Are you aware that Obama has persecuted and prosecuted more whistleblowers than all US presidents combined, and that he’s considered the worst president in the history of the US when it comes to whistleblowers and truth-tellers?
Great.
I am sure you would also agree on Obama securing his status as one of the most anti-liberties presidents in the history of this nation-Hint: NDAA
Fantastic!
Now I know the majority of Americans know, even those following establishment-mouthpiece media, all these facts. However, what this same majority doesn’t know is that it takes a village of sustainers, collaborators, obscurers and bottom-feeding foot soldiers to bring about, sustain, and shield an imperial presidency such as Obama’s. Let me give you a highly illustrative example extensively reported by Boiling Frogs Post two years ago:
That is right. Two years ago, Obama, the worst president in US history on whistleblowers and truth-telling, an awful president when it comes to government secrecy, the president who brought us the NDAA, and a man in the midst (and center of) of recent scandals involving the government’s illegal spying on media and using the IRS’ hit-men against opposition and political dissenters, yeah, this same Obama, this same president, was declared and given an award as the Most Transparent and Pro-Whistleblowers President in US History. Now did you all know that?
I didn’t think so.
Do you find it appalling, ludicrous and outrageous?
That makes all of us . . . well, not exactly. Not all of us. You see, for every evil empire and presidency there must exist an army of groomers, sustainers, defenders and protectors. While a certain segment of the troops protecting the evil empire and presidency is visible and in forefront, other components remain elusive and hidden from the public. You may see the attorney generals, secretaries, spokespersons and others in the forefront-and some even ready to become the fall-guys. What you won’t see are the operatives who lurk in the background under various guises and masks.

The team of so-called government watch-dog and transparency organizations may not have fooled the irate minority who support and follow Boiling Frogs Post. However, sadly, they shaped and brought about the continuation of the rotten-system and imperial presidency. They created and guided lies and illusions in the minds of the majority who marched to the polls to ensure the continuity of our ongoing imperial presidency in 2012. They voted for one of the worst, if not the worst, imperial presidents, who was advertised and presented by the establishment foot-soldiers as the most transparent and liberty-loving president in the history of this nation.
Project of Government Oversight and a handful of similar Establishment-Funded lap-dog organizations are only examples of hundreds if not thousands of NGOs, sub-foundations, pseudo alternative media channels, and pseudo-grassroots organizers who act as the lesser visible foot soldiers for the continuity of the establishment and survival of imperial presidencies.
As you are watching scandals unfold, one after another, none with any meaningful consequences for the ‘real’ perpetrators, keep this dose of reality in mind, and carefully watch for those not visible but masked- the ones in the background.
