Confirmation vote for Pompeo for CIA reminiscent of Iraq war vote

In the U.S. Senate, some votes have more impact than others. That was certainly the case with the January 23 Senate vote to confirm Representative Mike Pompeo (R-KS) as director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Quite aside from President Trump’s embattled relationship with the CIA, Pompeo’s confirmation by the Senate is similar to the Senate’s passage of the Iraq War Resolution in 2002, legislation that gave President George W. Bush the green light to engage in a costly invasion and occupation of Iraq. Continue reading

‘Billion-year’ Gambian president was installed by the CIA

Gambian President and dictator Yahya Jammeh, facing a combined military force composed of Senegalese army troops, the Nigerian air force, and troops from Mali, Ghana, and Togo, has agreed to relinquish the presidency of Gambia. On December 1, 2016, Jammeh was defeated for re-election in a surprise upset by his little-known rival Adama Barrow. Jammeh received only 45 percent of the vote. Continue reading

MLK family’s doubts about the official version of April ’68 events

Although this editor never had the opportunity to sit down with John F. Kennedy Jr. in July 1999 to discuss his offer to a small group of journalists he decided to hire to investigate his father’s assassination—Kennedy died in a suspicious plane crash shortly before the interview was scheduled—there was a surprise opportunity to discuss the matters of Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination with his son. A presidential campaign did collude with a foreign nation to sway a U.S. election: in 1980

Senior officials of a Republican presidential campaign committed outright treason against the United States when they secretly met with envoys of a foreign government to lay the groundwork for the defeat of the Democratic presidential candidate. We are not referring to the unsubstantiated charges about the 2016 presidential campaign leveled against Donald Trump campaign and the Russian government. Continue reading

‘Fake News’ and ‘Fake Intelligence’ are the neocon stock-in-trade

If the last name of the individual offering up news or intelligence is Kagan, Friedman, Kristol, Rubin, Brooks, Cohen, Goldberg, Podhoretz, Ledeen, Woolsey, Krauthammer, Goldfarb, Hayes, Senor, Zakheim, or Weiss, it should simply be disregarded as fake. Continue reading

CIA meddles in US election as it has in countless foreign polls

Never has the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency so blatantly involved itself in an American election. However, the agency has a rich history of interfering in the elections of other nations, including Russia. The conclusions of an undisclosed CIA secret report on alleged Russian interference in the U.S. election has been summarily dismissed by the director of National Intelligence, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and several retired U.S. intelligence officers as deeply flawed and a propaganda tool concocted by the highly-politicized CIA director John Brennan and his cronies. Brownback’s links to anti-Putin cabal cost him a Trump Cabinet position

Kansas Republican Governor Sam Brownback desperately wants a position in the Trump administration. However, with almost all of Trump’s cabinet positions already spoken for, with the exception of Agriculture Secretary, it would appear that the uber-conservative governor and former U.S. senator may join New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, and former U.S. House Speaker on the also-ran list in Trump’s political version of “Celebrity Apprentice.” Continue reading

U.S. authorizes jihadists to shoot down Russian aircraft over Syria

While Senator John McCain has called an alleged, but in no way proven, CIA report that Russia “hacked” the U.S. presidential election in favor of Donald Trump a form of warfare, he and his neo-con colleagues are secretly supporting the CIA’s covert operation to provide shoulder-launched missiles to jihadists fighting in the Syrian civil war. Grab bag of valid U.S. visas available overseas

State Department officials are pretending to scratch their heads over the bust of a “fake” U.S. embassy operating in the Ghanaian capital of Accra that was issuing valid U.S. visas to Ghanaians, Togolese, Ivorians, and others for a whopping $6,000. After Ghanaian authorities rolled up the fake embassy, said to have been operated by Ghanaian and Turkish organized crime syndicates, State Department officials claimed that the criminals who ran the “embassy” paid off corrupt officials to “look the other way.” However, corrupt Ghanaian government officials do not issue valid U.S. visas, U.S. State Department foreign service officers are responsible for the control and issuance of visas. WMR exposed U.S. visa fraud involving U.S. foreign service personnel in a series of articles beginning ten years ago. Continue reading

When ‘fake news’ turns deadly

Edgar Welch, a 28-year old resident of North Carolina, entered the Comet Ping Pong pizzeria in northwest Washington, DC’s Cleveland Park on a quiet Sunday afternoon claiming to be some sort of citizen journalist who was “self-investigating” a bogus story floating around the Internet. The story, which has no merit, was amplified by social media during the recent presidential campaign. The story claimed that the pizza restaurant was some sort of nexus for a shadowy pedophile ring reaching into the inner circle of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Continue reading

Merkel facing anti-migrant rebellion by Bavarian leader

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the architect of Europe’s devastating open-door migrant policy, is facing a challenger from within the ranks of her own increasingly tenuous governing coalition of her own Christian Democrats, the Social Democrats, and a Christian Democratic sister party in Bavaria, the Christian Social Union. Merkel, who announced plans to run for a fourth term a chancellor next year, may not last long as German head of government if Bavaria’s Christian Social Union Prime Minister Horst Seehofer has his way. ‘Fake news stories’ eclipse ‘conspiracy theories’ in globalist/Sorosite lexicon

The corporate news media, allied with “media watchdog” groups, many financed with global billionaire troublemaker George Soros, have trotted out a new dog whistle to attack their opponents: “fake news stories.” The issue of “fake news stories” was even raised by outgoing President Barack Obama in a news conference in Berlin with German chancellor Angela Merkel. Both leaders cited “fake news stories” as something that threatens international stability. Continue reading

Anxiety grows among GOP congressional staffers

With their bosses away campaigning, some for their political lives, a number of Republican staffers in Congress are growing anxious over their future employment. With the Senate now favored to be transferred to Democratic control, GOP staffers for members up for re-election on November 8, as well as Republican staffers assigned to various Senate committees and subcommittees, are shopping around their resumes. So who hacked Clinton? The truth could be more shocking than you expected

The U.S. Intelligence Community, led by the three most political actors in recent history, claims to have irrefutable “proof” that the Russian government was behind the hacking of Democratic Party computers and those affiliated with the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. However, Central Intelligence Agency director John Brennan, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and National Security Agency director Admiral Mike Rogers provided not one iota of evidence that it was Russian state players who hacked into the computers of the Democrats or the personal email accounts of Hillary Clinton campaign manager John Podesta and other staffers. America losing its grip on Southeast Asia

The recent diplomatic row between the Philippines and the United States has come as a shock to U.S. State Department and Pentagon policy wonks but for astute observers of Southeast Asian politics, the decision of Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte to “pivot” to China and Russia was long in the making. Ever since the so-called “Yellow Revolution” that saw Corazon Aquino replace the Philippines autocratic ruler Ferdinand Marcos, the majority of Filipinos have roiled under one corrupt American-blessed president after another. Duterte, the fiery former mayor of Davao City in Mindanao, has channeled the disgust of many in the Philippines to adopt a hostile attitude in the face of a renewed U.S. military presence in Southeast Asia designed to counter China. U.S. about to lose another key Asian ally

The United States, stung by the rapid deterioration in relations with its longtime ally, the Philippines, now stands on the precipice of losing another strategic ally in Asia. Reports that the much-revered king of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej, who has sat on the throne for 70 years and is 88-years old, is gravely ill is prompting a belief that Thailand will join the Philippines in rejecting American dictates. Is Trump running for TV network market share?

In his second debate with Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, rather than apologizing profusely for his lewd comments on “Access Hollywood,” decided to double down on Clinton by inviting into the audience four women from the newspaper headlines of the 1990s who accused Bill Clinton of sexual assault. Trump also used the debate to vow to put Mrs. Clinton in jail if he is elected president. Continue reading

Peres was no saint in his earlier years

World leaders rushed to Jerusalem to pay their last respects to former Israeli President and Prime Minister Shimon Peres, who died at the age of 93. American President Barack Obama eulogized Peres with the following soliloquy about his fellow Nobel Peace Prize laureate: “I would be the 10th U.S. President since John F. Kennedy to sit down with Shimon; the 10th to fall prey to his charms.” Continue reading

George Soros’s false flag factories

Global hedge fund tycoon and political provocateur George Soros is leading a war of symbols, namely flags and banners either resurrected or conjured up by his myriad non-profit groups, to stir religious, racial, and ethnic tensions the world over. From the Serbian OTPOR! movement and its clenched-fist symbol adopted by protests groups around the world to the menacing black and white flag of the Islamic State, which first appeared during the Soros-backed “Arab Spring” rebellions, Soros’s “false flag” factories have been running at break-neck production speeds. America’s ‘neo-McCarthyism’ a worrying trend with ‘liberals’

There is a worrying trend among America’s so-called “liberals” sweeping the country. Any computer security breach and voting irregularity is being blamed by a number of liberals who count themselves as supporters of Hillary Clinton, one-time supporters of Bernie Sanders, or neo-conservatives who abandoned the Republican Party for Clinton as being the fault of Vladimir Putin and Russia. Such fear-mongering is reminiscent of the right-wing’s “Red Scare” tactics of the late 1940s and 50s and the supporters of Wisconsin’s junior senator, the Red-baiting Joseph McCarthy. Revolt at Washington Post over paper’s call for arrest and imprisonment of its source

Washington journalist sources report that there is something of a revolt taking place at The Washington Post among many of its reporters over the paper’s recent editorial that not only rejected calls for a presidential pardon for National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden but called for his return to the United States from Russia and face arrest, prosecution, and a likely long prison term. The editorial appeared in the September 17 edition of the paper. Continue reading

Beware the coming Obama Center, a force for conflict and disruption

There is an ominous operation that will soon appear in south Chicago’s Jackson Park, one that will advance the cause of political disruption and international conflict around the world. The Barack Obama Center and Presidential Library will become a magnet for those malevolent forces wanting to advance Obama’s “existing international order” and a nightmare for nations and leaders hoping to stem the tide of globalization, free trade, open borders, and social and religious bedlam. Imperium Americana’s regional warlords march to their own drum beats

Not since the days of the Roman Empire have regional warlords commanded so much authority to craft their own military and diplomatic policies apart from the central government. The United States calls its warlords “combatant commanders” and the title is not misleading. These combatant commanders are always looking for new wars and conflicts, all of which are in the personal interests of them and their top military echelons, but certainly not in the general interest of the American people. Obama’s final ‘jihad’ in Asia

President Barack Obama has opted to ratchet up military tensions in Asia as one of his last foreign policy acts as president of the United States. Using climate change and free trade backdrops at the G20 Summit in Hangzhou, China, and the U.S.-ASEAN and East Asia Summits in Vientiane, Laos, as mirages intended to mask his aggressive military posture in the Asia-Pacific region, Obama seeks to cement his “pivot to Asia.” It is Obama’s sincere hope that his anticipated successor, his former secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, will expand on the expansionistic and aggressive regional showdown with China and Russia that his administration launched with his Asia “pivot.” Continue reading

Soros ran US foreign policy on post-coup Ukraine

A tranche of some 2,500 Internal documents, mostly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point files, as well as pdf files, from George Soros’s Open Society Foundation (OSF) network of non-governmental organizations, which were obtained from the group “DC Leaks,” shows that Soros and his advisers lorded over US policy toward Ukraine after the 2014 coup supported by Soros and the Obama administration ousted the democratically-elected Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych and his government. The leaked Soros documents describe how the OSF and Soros’s International Renaissance Foundation (IRF), based at 46 Artema Street in Kiev, worked with the US State Department after the 2014 so-called “Euromaidan” themed revolution to ensure that a federalized Ukraine was not in the picture. Donald Trump has expressed the belief that the November 8 election could be rigged in favor of his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton. He has reason to be concerned. Continue reading

The US continued biological weapons research until 2003

President Richard Nixon ordered the destruction of all US biological weapons in 1969. His White House declaration, Statement on Chemical and Biological Defense Policies and Programs, declared that ”the United States shall renounce the use of lethal biological agents and weapons, and all other methods of biological warfare. The United States will confine its biological research to defensive measures such as immunization and safety measures.” With that and the ratification of the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention by the United States, Soviet Union, and Great Britain, the US biological weapons program came to an end. Or did it? Continue reading

Florida Panhandle’s GOP politics: Sex, lies, and dead bodies

The Florida Panhandle has seen its share of sketchy Republican office holders. Few local voters who were around in 2001 can forget the suspicious death of Lori Klausutis, a 29-year old constituent services staffer for retiring Florida GOP Representative Joe Scarborough. Klausutis’s body was discovered at 8:00 in the morning on July 20, 2001, by a couple who arrived at Scarborough’s North Fort Walton Beach office for a meeting. Klausutis is said to have died from a skull fracture. The local coroner’s determination that the very physically fit Klausutis died from accidental causes left many voters in Florida’s First Congressional District convinced that Scarborough, now the host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” somehow knew more than what was revealed about the circumstances of his aide’s death during the middle of the night. From UK-USA alliance and ECHELON to Five Eyes and TICKETWINDOW

Although only a small portion of NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden’s purloined National Security Agency data files have seen the light of day, thanks mostly to the redaction deal journalist/lawyer Glenn Greenwald worked out with high-tech billionaire Pierre Omidyar, the recent trickle of documents has yielded some important information about the NSA’s pre-9/11 surveillance operations. Stripping the veneer off America’s propaganda menagerie

National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange have doubled down recently on the games being played in cyberspace by America’s cyberwarriors. Snowden suggests that many of NSA’s most damaging malware programs are now in the hands of America’s opponents, thanks to enterprising foreign counterintelligence hackers known as the Shadow Brokers. Snowden believes that the malware, including destructive programs such as Stuxnet, are being auctioned off, via Bitcoin payments, by the Shadow Brokers. Snowden stated that the malware was obtained through hacking from a murky NSA operation called the “Equation Group.” Continue reading

CIA has always made up nonsense stories about Russia

Former Central Intelligence Agency Acting Director Michael Morell has claimed that the GOP presidential nominee is an unwitting intelligence agent for Russian President Vladimir Putin. Former CIA and National Security Agency director Michael Hayden believes Trump is not hostile enough against Russia. The Democratic Party and the Hillary Clinton campaign, in concert with the FBI, have accused Russia of being behind computer break-ins of the computers of the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign. America’s dangerous game of intrigue inside international organizations

From the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) to the Southern Common Market (Mercosur) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Washington has been playing a dangerous game of intrigue and deception with regard to steering these organizations in a pro-American direction. The Obama administration has decided that the halls, offices, and conference rooms of international organizations are acceptable battlefields to wage propaganda and sanctions wars. Continue reading
