In the 1999 flick “Wag the Dog,” White House aides try to build up anger against Albania by showing a phony Albanian young woman, played by Kirsten Dunst, trying to escaping rape at the hands of Albanian troops. The “rape” was faked and filmed in a studio, complete with a blue screen. The intent of the phony rape was to divert the public’s attention away from a presidential sex scandal and build up support for military action against Albania. Continue reading →
In a June 13 article in The Guardian of the UK, reporter John Vidal writes that the weather extremes our planet is now experiencing constitute a “new normal.” WMR has been citing planetary anomalies for a few years and now the so-called “main stream” media is beginning to take notice. Vidal calls the phenomenon “global weirding.” While Vidal does not add the increase in quakes and volcanic eruptions plaguing the Earth, the suggestion that something is radically wrong is being noticed. What lies in store for Greece, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, Italy, and, in short order, the United States, is the wholesale sell-off of public property to private corporations at bargain basement prices. What the despots who gather in their secretive lairs at Davos, Cernobbio, Bilderberg, and G8/G20 are bringing about is a world where no property is owned by the state, which by default means the people. Total corporate control over every facet of life equals extreme fascism. Continue reading →
TRIPOLI, Libya–The Obama administration may have officially pronounced the assassination by US Special Operations forces of reputed “Al Qaeda” leader Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan but that has not deterred the U.S. administration from providing over two-thousand “Al Qaeda” irregulars with weapons and other support in rebel-controlled eastern Libya. The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) may be influential and be chock full of Israeli intelligence agents but when it comes to operational security, AIPAC is bush league. Continue reading →

(WMR)—The CIA not only wanted to deny the presidency to Peruvian nationalist Ollanta Humala, who was defeated in the presidential election five years ago by Wall Street favorite Alan Garcia, but wanted to ensure that dual U.S-Peruvian citizen Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, a former World Bank official, former Peruvian finance minister, and executive with arch-vulture capitalist Felix Rohatyn’s Rohatyn Group investment fund in New York, beat out Keiko Fujimori, the daughter of the jailed former president and CIA cypher, Alberto Fujimori. (WMR) — In the trial of former National Security Agency (NSA) executive Thomas Drake, federal prosecutors have convinced an agreeable federal judge, Richard D. Bennett, to place under court seal previously released trial documents because they have been deemed “For Official Use Only” or FOUO. Drake is accused of leaking classified materials to the media and is only the fourth person in U.S. history to be charged with violating the 1917 Espionage Act. Continue reading →
(WMR)—There was another antiwar rally in Washington, DC, on March 19. Unlike the protests during the Bush administration, the rally against Obama’s wars in Afghanistan Iraq, Pakistan, and now, Libya, barely drew 500 people. Some of the anti-war rallies during the Bush administration drew over 300,000. However, this is a Democratic administration, so many pressure group provocateurs on the left feel that Obama, who is continuing two of Bush’s wars, and who started two more in Pakistan and Libya, is justified in enforcing America’s imperial military designs. Continue reading →
(WMR)—The powerful nuclear power lobby, which has the firm backing of one of its largest recipients of campaign cash donation, Barack Obama, in its corner, is conducting a full court press to mask over the seriousness of the latest nuclear disaster in Japan. Continue reading →
(WMR)—President Obama, as he displayed so ignominiously in the aftermath of the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster, has, once again, demonstrated that his first priority in the face of major disasters is the protection of corporate interests. Obama’s reaction to the post-quake nuclear power plant disasters in Japan complements what amounts to a cover-up of the danger posed by nuclear power plants in quake-prone areas. Continue reading →
(WMR)—Multiple well-informed sources in Central and South America have told WMR that the heavily-armed and merciless Los Zetas narcotics cartel operating in Mexico is carrying out their destabilization efforts in Mexico with the assistance of elements of the U.S. Special Forces and Israel’s Mossad. (WMR)—For some three decades, local residents near a top secret terrorist training base have reported on hearing explosions, seeing sudden flashes of light and night time flares, and noticing small planes and “black helicopters” arriving at and departing from a small airfield on the base. The airspace over the base is off-limits to unauthorized aircraft. Continue reading →
America’s neo-colonial potentate inspects one of his Caribbean colonies
Part I of a two-part series on Obama’s neo-colonialist policies toward America’s colonies

Like a pompous European monarch visiting one of his overseas territories in the “Third World,” President Obama recently spent four hours in the U.S. colony of Puerto Rico. Billed as celebrating the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s visit in 1961 to Puerto Rico, as well as a chance to discuss the March report issued by the President’s Task Force on Puerto Rico’s Status, the visit had little to with either. In fact, Obama’s chief priority was to attend a Democratic National Committee fundraiser at San Juan’s Caribe Hilton Hotel where Obama pocketed $1 million for his re-election campaign.
